4U (paper weight) Thrashers


OVERVIEW “4U Paper Weight Thrashers”

  1. To introduce, emphasize, and develop the fundamental skills of lacrosse with emphasis on teamwork, motor skills & having FUN for athlete’s that are 3 or 4 years of age in the current seasons calendar year.



  • Provide 2 dynamic, energetic, engaging, condensed 5 week lacrosse seasons.
    • Session #1: April 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29 & May 5 & 7/20
    • Session #2: May 19, 21, 26, 28 & June 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18/20
  • 45min Practices with a Wind-Up at the end.
  • Emphasis on proper fundamental lacrosse skill sets in an environment that encourages participation, inclusion, skill development and overall enjoyment of Lacrosse.
  • We will encourage having parents to watch from in the Players Boxes. Your presence gives our little laxer’s the boost of confidence they need to make it through a 45 min practice.  We also like to have parents on hand to help with water breaks, “Pitstop Water Crew” we called them.  Without help a water break has the potential to be challenging for coaches.
  • Implement WLA’s Junior Coaching Program for Coaching Staff’s & Floor Helpers.




  • Helmet, Mouth Guard, Gloves, Jock/Jill, Shoulder Pads, Elbow Pads/Slash Guards, Running Shoes, Shorts, Shoes, Water Bottle.
